VEHICLE SERVICING

In order to keep your vehicle warranty valid and to ensure an optimum level of hassle free motoring, you should ensure your vehicle is maintained to a high level.

We achieve this by servicing the vehicle using genuine parts and regular manufactures recommended intervals.

Intervals can differ depending on the usage of the vehicle and if the vehicle has been modified.

The type of service we offer covers the manufacturers recommendations and are as follows:

INTERIM SERVICE

Every 12 months or 10,000 miles (which ever arrives first)

Oil, oil filter and sump plug replacement (we only use the highest grade of oil supplied direct from the main dealers to the spec required for your vehicle).

Visual inspection of engine bay and vehicle body.

Check and top up fluid levels as required, check lights, wiper blades, brakes, tyres, check all drive belts, fuel system and pipe work, cooling system, wheel bearings, suspension (shock absorbers, springs, joints, mounts and bushings), drive shafts and boots, brakes lines (flexible and fixed), exhaust, seatbelts. Computer diagnostics check using VAG approved software, reset service light, update online service history to the VAG online database.

FULL SERVICE

Every 24 months or 20,000 miles (which ever arrives first)

As Interim service, with the addition of air filter, spark plugs (petrol only) fuel filter.

Air filter, Spark Plugs (petrol vehicles), Fuel Filter (diesel vehicles). Lubrication of all moving parts (doors, hinges, locks, catches and gear linkage), check quality of brake fluid and antifreeze, gear oil level, differential oil level (if possible), operation of all controls and switches, adjust handbrake (if possible), check air conditioning and pollen filter. 

Computer diagnostics check using VAG approved software, reset service light, update online service history to the VAG online database.

The oil for any petrol car can be upgraded to Millers Nanodrive oils for an additional charge.

In addition to this, there are suggested items which will require servicing or replaced in addition to the regular service requirements.

Pollen filters, Fuel filters, Brake fluid etc
